Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Unite Events. These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of premium venue consultancy services by Unite Events ('the Company') to our distinguished clients ('the Client'). By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined herein. Our commitment is to provide professional, bespoke curation for elite gatherings across prestigious locations.
2. Definitions
'Company' refers to Unite Events. 'Client' refers to the individual or entity engaging our consultancy services. 'Services' encompass venue selection, event curation, high-end production coordination, and consultancy. 'Venue' refers to the third-party location selected for the event.
3. Services & Scope
Unite Events provides expert consultancy to assist Clients in architecting immersive experiences. Our scope includes identifying exclusive venues, coordinating bespoke production elements, and overseeing vendor selection. We act as consultants; the final decision on all elements remains with the Client.
4. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is only considered confirmed once the Company receives a signed Service Agreement and the required initial retainer fee. Written confirmation will follow once these requirements are satisfied.
5. Fees, Payments & Currency (INR)
All professional fees are quoted and payable in Indian Rupees (INR). GST and other applicable local taxes will be levied as per the current regulations in India. Payments are to be made according to the schedule specified in the Service Agreement. The Company reserves the right to suspend services if payments are not received within the established timelines.
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing accurate and timely information, securing necessary event insurance, and making final decisions on vendors. The Client must ensure that their guests adhere to the Venue's safety and conduct regulations.
7. Venue & Third-Party Suppliers
Contracts for venues and third-party suppliers (caterers, decorators, entertainers) are typically directly between the Client and the provider. While the Company coordinates these elements, we are not liable for the performance or defaults of these third-party entities.
8. Changes, Postponement & Cancellation
Cancellation or postponement must be communicated in writing. Fees already paid to the Company are non-refundable to cover administrative costs and time already invested. Specific cancellation charges depend on the proximity to the event date, as detailed in the Service Agreement.
9. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, government sanction, or blockage.
10. Liability & Indemnity
The total liability of the Company for any claim arising out of these terms shall be limited to the total consultancy fees paid by the Client. The Client agrees to indemnify the Company against all claims, losses, and costs arising from the Client's breach of this agreement.
11. Intellectual Property & Marketing Use
All designs, plans, and artistic concepts created by the Company remain our intellectual property. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Company reserves the right to use photographs or videos from curated events for professional marketing purposes.
12. Confidentiality & Data Protection
We handle all personal and corporate information with the highest degree of confidentiality and in accordance with Indian data protection norms. Your data is used solely for the purpose of providing the requested services.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
